Services

  • Psychological Assessment

This involves one or more sessions to complete a thorough evaluation of the strengths and difficulties you are experiencing to create a holistic picture of what is happening for you, and to identify any relevant diagnoses. In the final assessment session, we also talk about possible therapies and/or other services who can help.

First session is $190+GST for 1 hour. Each session after that is $170+GST for 50 minutes.

  • Psychological Therapy

After the psychological assessment, I offer psychotherapy from a few different approaches, but mainly cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). I also include dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) informed skills as needed.

These therapies aim to help us identify and alter troubling thoughts, feelings, and behaviour so you can gain relief, maintain or enhance your day-to-day functioning, and/or improve your quality of life - depending on what your goal(s) might be.

Sessions are $170+GST for 50 minutes.

  • Neuropsychological Screening and Assessment

Neuropsychology looks at the link between the health of your brain and your functioning, such as your thinking skills and memory, behaviour, verbal communication, and motor skills (e.g., walking, using utensils).

The process is split across at least two days and involves an interview to gather background information as well as 1.5 to 3 hours at a time to complete the neuropsychological tests. The results are then put together in a comprehensive report. Please get in touch to discuss pricing.

  • Funding Support

I am registered with I Am Hope (for people aged up to 25 years old) who can assist with funding for up to two sessions and Aoake te Rā, who offer up to six funded sessions for people bereaved by suicide. I can also assist if you are eligible for funding from WINZ or your health insurance provider. In addition, I am happy to arrange a payment plan that works for you.
